2010 going good!

The Season has been fun so far. We won the opener at Lakeside and then followed it up with a win at Thunder Hill in the IMCA Mod, however the win was not allowed because we failed to remove the Stud Girdles as per IMCA Rules.

We have added two more wins since then. We've had some great runs at Lakeside, we just haven't made it back to the winners circle as of yet. We have been in and out of the points lead and it looks like we may have a shot at a Title run if things keep going well.

Our T-Shirts are finally getting done. Our online store isn't operating yet, but we hope to get that worked out soon. There has been some talk about some Die Cast Cars as well. They are talking about a four Car set with the Heartland Thunder Cars.

That Brings me to Heartland Thunder. As I type I'm getting ready to watch the second Episode. I thought the first Episode was Great. I know there was some negative comments on some forums, but it looked like they were out numbered by positive comments about 98 to 2 or so.

We worked hard to make that a Great Show, I think they did a Great Job putting a story together, sure there are some scenes out of sequence, and they got some footage mixed up, and maybe too much of this and not enough of that, but good Lord, these guys flew in here, knew nothing about racing, knew no one in the show, and did a Superb job of filming and Camera work. I must say I was proud to be associated with 3 ball productions and the Discovery Channel.

As the season continues, we are hoping for season two on the show. Things are in place if they come back, if not, we are prepared to battle it out for the Lakeside Points, and hopefully, a few more Wins in IMCA.

We are coming up on the 4th of July Weekend. I plan to run Lakeside Friday, Thunder Hill Saturday, and Maybe CMS Sunday. Dan asked if I would be interested in running his back up Car and try and get it in the Big Show, $5000 to win $1000 to start....heck yeah, where do I sign up!!!!!!

I will try and get on here more often, I have been letting the site sit Idle, no more of that. See ya next week. Tom

UPDATE: The show "Heartland Thunder" is going to air on Discovery in four consecutive nights. July 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th at 1am cst. It is the final four shows and will complete the series.
